The systematic, large-scale collection of these opinions also enables to evaluate the impact of care on health and the extent to which care is responding to people’s needs. The SCAPE surveys, introduced in Switzerland in 2018, aim to systematically collect and analyze the experiences of cancer patients, providing essential data for improving the quality of oncology care. An important feature of the SACPE surveys is the involvement of patient partners in research right from the start. Throughout the partnership, their experiential knowledge was fully recognized, enriching the quality, relevance, and value of SCAPE. The quality of their engagement will be assessed to appreciate their work and valuable involvement, and to draw lessons to guide future projects aimed at improving the quality of care, in partnership with patients.
<publication_date media_type="online"><month>07</month><day>18</day><year>2024</year></publication_date><publisher_item><item_number item_number_type="article_number">14189</item_number></publisher_item><program xmlns="http://www.crossref.org/AccessIndicators.xsd" name="AccessIndicators"><free_to_read start_date="2024-07-18"/><license_ref applies_to="am" start_date="2024-07-18">https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0</license_ref><license_ref applies_to="vor" start_date="2024-07-18">https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0</license_ref><license_ref applies_to="tdm" start_date="2024-07-18">https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0</license_ref></program><program xmlns="http://www.crossref.org/relations.xsd"><related_item><intra_work_relation identifier-type="uri" relationship-type="isSameAs">https://hal.science/hal-04653308v1</intra_work_relation></related_item></program><doi_data><doi>10.46298/pspa.14189</doi><resource>http://pspa.episciences.org/14189</resource><collection property="crawler-based"><item crawler="iParadigms"><resource>https://hal.science/hal-04653308v1/document</resource></item></collection><collection property="text-mining"><item><resource mime_type="application/pdf">https://hal.science/hal-04653308v1/document</resource></item></collection></doi_data></journal_article></journal></body></doi_batch>
